Anna Herring

Anna grew up going to church and hearing the Gospel. When she was in elementary school, she gave her heart to Jesus. However, it was when she started battling cancer off-and-on throughout her adolescence that Anna fell deeply in love with Jesus.

While battling cancer, Anna dreamed of being a nurse, but God had other plans. In her early 20s, God gave Anna a passion for teaching kids about Jesus. As an intern through Reality and as a four-year-old Sunday school teacher, Anna grew in her gifts of teaching, communication, and leadership. Soon after, Anna was hired as the Kids Ministry Director, where she has continued teaching kids about Jesus and equipping other to do the same.

Anna loves serving at Reality because she gets to equip volunteers and parents to communicate big God truths to kids. She is especially passionate about capturing kids’ attention, tapping into their imaginations, and getting kids excited about the word of God!

At Reality, Anna is the Kids Ministry Director. Anna leads a team of volunteers in making disciples of infants through fifth graders by selecting and editing curriculum, training and equipping volunteers, teaching the kids, leading worship, and planning special events.

Anna lives in Ventura and loves to read novels, dance, roller skate, and eat yummy local foods.
