We are happy to welcome back home John & Beth from Liberia! For the past 4 1/2 years they served in Liberia at the ELWA (Eternal Love Winning Africa) hospital compound. ELWA’s high-profile role during Liberia’s civil war and now through the Ebola crisis and aftermath, enabled it to be a key base of outreach through the ministries there. As ELWA Hospital’s CEO, John oversaw the operations of the new 87-bed hospital that Samaritan’s Purse had built. Let’s give them a warm Reality Ventura Welcome Back!
This month we get to welcome Adam and Michelle, our global partners visiting from Soddo, Ethiopia! Adam and Michelle serve at Soddo Christian Hospital. Adam is an engineer and provides critical technical support for the hospital. Michelle is a physician serving as the head of pediatrics with a heart to develop a family medicine residency. Together, their passion is discipleship of Ethiopian physicians and others who can in turn reach their own people with the gospel.
Adam and Michelle will be in the area for several months before returning to Ethiopia. Stay tuned for more announcements on ways to connect with them while they are here. Stop by the Global Table in the church foyer to pick up their prayer card.
