Our heart and desire for youth at Reality Ventura is to raise up young men and women who would come to follow Jesus, grow in their relationship with Him, and in turn share their love and passion with others. Our goal for students is to guide them as they begin to explore what it truly means to have a faith in Christ, teach them from the Scriptures, and begin to lead and teach them what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
Our High School group meets on
Wednesday nights from 7pm-9pm.
You are also invited to join us 30 minutes early
as we pray over the night.
Our Junior High group meets on

in front of The Warehouse (old Vertical Heaven space next door).
Beloved Parents and Students,
This message is to notify you that at the end of November I will be stepping away as Youth Director of Reality Ventura Youth. Although this is really one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do, it does come on the heels of months of prayer between my wife and I. It is not a decision that we came to lightly, but one that the Lord is calling us to make. My heart is still for students, and God’s people, to come to a deeper, intimate knowledge and experience of His love. My prayer will always be that each student will draw closer to the Lord.
Although I am stepping away, my wife and I will still be attending Reality Ventura. We believe this is our home church and where we want to continue to fellowship and enjoy this Spirit led community. So please free to approach us and treat us as you always have.
For those wondering, in this next season I will be pursuing a career in law enforcement.
Furthermore, the elders are currently praying and seeking who the Lord is calling to take over as the new Youth Director. During this important process, Billy Hunter will be taking over the important duties and responsibilities that are involved with that role. He will be leading the group of well involved and well equipped leaders who are currently serving in youth ministry.
Lastly, how can you be praying?
1. Pray alongside us as the elders seek God’s wisdom for the direction in which He is leading.
2. Pray for me and my wife as we embark in to a new and scary season.
3. Pray that God’s will be done and that His Name would be glorified through this process.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family and the life of your students for these last four and half years. It has been a great pleasure and privilege to share the love of Christ to so many amazing young lives.
